SF-640 Signaling&Signal Connector
With the rapid development of the telecom
technology, telecom networks become more and more complex, as the nerve
of the telecom network, signaling supports and controls the normal running
of the network. No.7 signaling, the most important inter-office signaling,
is widely applied in both PSTN and the mobile network and has brought
along a large market concerned with the applications on its collecting,
monitoring and controlling.
The SF-640
signaling&signal collector developed by Spirit is
characterized with large capacity, abundant interface types, convenient
maintenance, stability and reliability. It had successfully passed the
test conducted by the Ministry of Information Industry and can be applied
widely in the fields of signaling monitoring, inter-network billing,
mobile short message and value-added services based on signaling monitoring.

2 Hardware architecture
of SF-640

> The kernel
chips of the high-speed bi-processor of MOTOROLA are adopted as the
main CPU. CPM kernel specially deals with peripheral interfaces, including
256 HDLC, 100M Ethernet, 10M Ethernet. While POWERPC kernel is used
to deal with the application programs.
> Non-blocking exchange of 4096X4096
can be realized with the capacity of the exchange network of 4K X 4K.
Each E1 interface board supports 8 E1. 8 E1 interface boards, with 64
E1 interfaces in total, can be inserted in one SF-640.
> Embedded 64M SDRAM contributes more
memory for the system.
> 10M/100M Ethernet can be used for
capacity extension through cascading.

5 User interface configuration
Data configuration:
>Settings of the parameters of the
transmission links: define the name of the link, select the linear code
(HDB3、AMI), select the impedance (high impedance or low impedance),
set the clock synchronization and the time

up the backup for the signaling links upon needs, system will automatically
switch to the backup system to transmit the collected data in case the
main system alarms
Statistics:
Statistics on the links: number and proportion of FISU,LSSU,MSU; Re-send
MSU, number and proportion of the error signal units, calculation of
the load of each link bases on the statistics data.
Alarm monitoring:
SF-640 can monitor the transmission alarm and the signaling alarm from
each of the signaling link.

Short,CRC-16 Error
