SF-640 Signaling&Signal Connector

 With the rapid development of the telecom technology, telecom networks become more and more complex, as the nerve of the telecom network, signaling supports and controls the normal running of the network. No.7 signaling, the most important inter-office signaling, is widely applied in both PSTN and the mobile network and has brought along a large market concerned with the applications on its collecting, monitoring and controlling.
 The SF-640 signaling&signal collector developed by Spirit is characterized with large capacity, abundant interface types, convenient maintenance, stability and reliability. It had successfully passed the test conducted by the Ministry of Information Industry and can be applied widely in the fields of signaling monitoring, inter-network billing, mobile short message and value-added services based on signaling monitoring.

1 Technical features of SF-640
 > Large capacity: single signaling collecting board supports 64 pairs of signaling links
 > Types of data collected: can be configured as No.7 signaling, HDLC, transparent data collecting mode
 > Versatile types of interfaces for collection support: it may collect the direct connected and quasi-direct connected links of No.7 signaling network of PSTN, interface A, interface B, interface C, interface D, interface E, interface G of the mobile network, PSTN, SC short message center and all the No.7 signaling links of other interfaces.
 > Widespread protocols are supported: concerned China No.7 signaling protocols, such as MTP, MTUP, TUP, ISUP, SCCP, TCAP, MAP, BSSMAP, BSSOMAP, DTAP, INAP, CAP
 > Flexible configuration: support two configuration modes for graphical user interface network administration configuration and terminal controlling
 > Support automatic detection SS7&HDLC signaling time slot

2 Hardware architecture of SF-640

 > The kernel chips of the high-speed bi-processor of MOTOROLA are adopted as the main CPU. CPM kernel specially deals with peripheral interfaces, including 256 HDLC, 100M Ethernet, 10M Ethernet. While POWERPC kernel is used to deal with the application programs.
 > Non-blocking exchange of 4096X4096 can be realized with the capacity of the exchange network of 4K X 4K. Each E1 interface board supports 8 E1. 8 E1 interface boards, with 64 E1 interfaces in total, can be inserted in one SF-640.
 > Embedded 64M SDRAM contributes more memory for the system.
 > 10M/100M Ethernet can be used for capacity extension through cascading.


3 Interfaces criteria of SF-640
 > Number of E1 interfaces: 64 E1 in one SF-640 supporting 75Ω(imbalanced) interface/120Ω(balanced) interface
 > Number of signaling links: support 64 pairs of 64K SS7 link or 128 pairs of 64K HDLC link or 2 pairs of 2M SS7 link
 > Signaling link rate: 64Kbit/s,Nx64Kbit/s ( N=1 to 31 ),16Kbit/s,2Mbit/s
 > Number of 64K transparent data links: support 128 pairs of 64K transparent data collection
 > Output interface of the data collected: 100M Ethernet
 > Hot backup for power supply
 > Signaling collecting board is hot SWAP

4 Performance Indicators of SF-640
 > Jump connection of high impedance comply with ITU_T G.703, interface 2.048Mbit/s, error 100ppm
 > HDB3 code, AMI code
 > Input impedance is more than 50KΩ
 > Support CRC4 multi-frame
 > Balanced and imbalanced compatible
 > Jitter tolerance is bigger than 1.5UI(20Hz—2.4KHz )
> Echo Loss is more than 100dB(102KHz—2048KHz)
 > Linear attenuation 38dB
 > Wire attenuation compensation 6dB
 > Amplification of inner signal 12dB or 30dB

5 User interface configuration
 Data configuration:
  >Settings of the parameters of the transmission links: define the name of the link, select the linear code (HDB3、AMI), select the impedance (high impedance or low impedance), set the clock synchronization and the time
  > Setting of parameters of the signaling links
   -- Type of the protocol: select the corresponding protocol upon the actual interface
   -- Time slot select: select the time slot(1-31) where the signaling lies according to the actual situation
   -- Rate select: 16K, 64K, 2M
  > Support 64K transparent data flow collection
  > Setting of the output interface: IP address, Port number
  > Backup setting for the system: set up the backup for the signaling links upon needs, system will automatically switch to the backup system to transmit the collected data in case the main system alarms
 Statistics:
 Statistics on the links: number and proportion of FISU,LSSU,MSU; Re-send MSU, number and proportion of the error signal units, calculation of the load of each link bases on the statistics data.
 Alarm monitoring:
 SF-640 can monitor the transmission alarm and the signaling alarm from each of the signaling link.
  > Transmission alarm includes
   -- E1 interface: No Signal,AIS,No Frame,Distance Alarm
  > Signaling alarm includes
   -- Signaling alarm: No Frame
   -- Signaling error: Truncated,7 Ones,Too Short,CRC-16 Error
  SF-640 can display the status of the alarm immediately and save it to the log file or inform the background server program via the data interface or network interface.
 Condition filtration:
